Volunteers were an important part of our founding and operations. Today, volunteers remain important to our day-to-day. Mission East Dallas offers non-clinical volunteer opportunities. We welcome all that are interested.

We assist providers with applying for both Federal and State Loan Repayment Programs.
The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) loan repayment program allows MED in the recruitment and retention of medical, dental, and mental health care providers by providing loan repayment. These service obligations require participants to provide full-time, and in some cases part-time, primary health care services at an eligible nonprofit practice site (like Mission East Dallas) located in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) for a period of two to four years.CURRENT OPENINGS

Please join MED's Capital Campaign of "Building the Future" where together we can support healing and hope, and facilitate access to high quality compassionate care of individuals and families in our community. Any amount is appreciated! $1 dollar pays for some post-card reminders. $3 dollars pays for one bus-pass and $25 dollars pays for one person to receive a basic medical visit.
