Behavioral Health Specialist  

Isabel Villabobos Reynolds, our bi-lingual Behavioral Health Specialist, provides a compassionate atmosphere in which clients can safely explore and work through their feelings and beliefs. She has worked in a variety of settings with diverse populations, including supporting adults with common and uncommon challenges, children who experienced abuse and neglect, survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, children and families with chronic and life-threatening conditions in a hospital setting, and the geriatric population both in home and facility settings. Isabel is particularly passionate about supporting clients through life transitions, trauma recovery, grief, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues, and serves men and women through her private pracitce. She primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution focused, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed models of counseling. Isabel has two master’s degrees, including a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Public Administration from National University, and is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker. 

Outside of work, Isabel strives to improve her physical health by prioritizing exercise and running in her daily life. She has run 3 full marathons (26.2 miles), 4 half-marathons (13.1 miles) and multiple 15Ks, 10Ks and 5Ks, with goals to run more races in the future! She has lost over 100 pounds through diet and exercise and continues to work towards her weight loss goals. In addition, Isabel is very active in her church and volunteers with the technology/media department as well as provides counseling through the counseling ministry. In her spare time, Isabel loves to attend concerts, watch movies, and read.
